1. Do I need any additional equipment or software programs to use mobileTRAQ?
mobileTRAQ is internet-based. As long as you have a computer that can connect to the internet and an email address, you can use mobileTRAQ.

2. How do I, my staff, and my vendors access mobileTRAQ?
Each authorized user (whom you determine) has a unique and secure username and password. They simply login any time - day or night - and immediately see what work they need to get done. Each user only sees the work assigned to them. You (as the administrator or manager) see everything in the system so you can schedule, prioritize, and manage workflow.

5. How do I put information into mobileTRAQ?
mobileTRAQ comes with an easy to use data entry system that guides you through this process. If you can type and if you have even limited experience with the internet, you can use mobileTRAQ. The online training tutorial also provides step-by-step instruction on how to input your information, as well as how to use each of mobileTRAQ's many features.

6. What training will I or my staff need to use mobileTRAQ?
mobileTRAQ is designed to be easy to understand and navigate. Your mobileTRAQ license includes access to a comprehensive web-tutorial system that guides you through data entry and each of mobileTRAQ's many features. 2 hours of telephone training is also included with yearly licenses.

7. How does advanced scheduling work?
Whether you have a one time activity or a recurring project or task, you can set the due date and notification date (to the person or vendor assigned) for any time in the future. When the notification date arrives, the person assigned is contacted by the system (either by email or SMS text messaging) including a link to the digital work order so they can get up to speed quickly and begin work. mobileTRAQ also sends a reminder to the person assigned before it is due.

8. Can I set up recurring tasks such as PMs (preventive maintenance)?
Most definitely. This is one of mobileTRAQ's core features. PMs along with any other recurring tasks and projects can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annual basis. In addition, mobileTRAQ sends a reminder to the person assigned before each time the task or project is due.

9. How does mobileTRAQ notify people?
mobileTRAQ reads each user's profile and notifies them based on how they want to be contacted (email or SMS text messaging).

10. How fast are we notified of new projects and tasks, and of status changes?
mobileTRAQ sends new task and status change notifications immediately. You can also control notifications in the Administration area and for individual tasks.

11. How do overdue notices work?
When a project or task goes past its due date (midnight on that day), the system immediately sends the requestor and the person/vendor assigned an overdue notice. It is also flagged in the project and task listing within mobileTRAQ (in RED).
